Learn AI properly.
Build something real.
In four weeks.

Leverrs is a live, hands-on AI and tech programme for 15–21 year olds in the UK — whether you're still at school or college, taking a gap year, or starting uni this autumn. You won't just learn about AI. You'll build with it, and leave with something you can show people.

No coding experience needed 100% online, live Evenings & weekends
The programme

Small cohort. Real build. Nothing filler.

Most "AI courses" hand you videos and hope for the best. Leverrs is capped, live and project-first — because the thing that actually changes your options is having built something.

4 weeks, live

30 August to 30 September, taught in real time by people who build with AI for a living — not pre-recorded and not left to you to figure out alone.

20 places, capped

We keep the room small on purpose. You get asked questions by name, your work gets looked at, and nobody hides at the back of a 300-person Zoom.

1 project you own

Everyone finishes with a working AI project, a portfolio page and a demo-day recording — things you can put on a UCAS statement, a CV or a DM to a founder.

Our mission

Why we built Leverrs

Leverrs is an innovators & entrepreneurs programme fostering STEM and creative thinking across the UK and Nigeria. The short version: young people are already using AI every day — we think they should know how to build it, not just consume it.

Build, don't just browse

Every session ends with something on your screen that didn't exist at the start of it.

People, not just content

A capped cohort, live mentors and a community you keep after the four weeks end.

Proof you can point at

Certificate, portfolio and demo recording — evidence, not just a line on a CV.

Who it's for

Four different starting points. Same four weeks.

You don't need to have picked a career. You don't need to code. You need to be curious and willing to actually turn up.

Ages 15–18

Still at school

You're doing GCSEs or A-levels and everyone keeps saying "AI is the future" without telling you what to actually do about it. Start here — before it's a scramble.

Something real for your personal statement
Gap year

Taking a year out

A gap year is only as good as what you have to show at the end of it. Four weeks of this turns "I took a year off" into "I built and shipped an AI tool".

Fits around work, travel and plans
Offer holders

Starting uni this year

You've got your offer and a free September. Walk into freshers' week already able to build with the tools your course will only reach in second year.

Finishes right as term begins
Ages 16–21

At college or FE

BTEC, T-Level, apprenticeship route or access course — this sits alongside what you're already doing and gives you the practical AI skills employers keep asking for.

Portfolio work for applications
Curriculum

Four weeks, four milestones

Each week has one job. By the end of week four you've gone from "I use ChatGPT sometimes" to "here's the thing I built, here's how it works, here's the link."

Week 01

Understand it

What AI actually is under the hood, and how to direct it like an engineer rather than guessing.

  • How models really work — in plain English
  • Prompting properly: structure, context, iteration
  • Claude, ChatGPT & Gemini as build tools
  • Where AI is wrong, biased or risky
Week 02

Build it

Your first working thing. Enough Python and no-code to stop being blocked by "I can't code".

  • Python fundamentals, fast
  • Calling an AI API for the first time
  • No-code stacks for speed
  • Your project idea, scoped and started
Week 03

Ship it

Take it off your laptop and put it somewhere a real person can use it.

  • AI agents & automations that run without you
  • Connecting tools and data
  • Design and UI basics in Figma
  • Deploying to a live link
Week 04

Prove it

Turn the work into something that opens doors — applications, CVs, DMs, interviews.

  • Portfolio page & write-up
  • Demo day — you present, we record it
  • Talking about your build convincingly
  • What next: uni, apprenticeships, freelance

Questions

The things everyone asks

No. We start from zero. Week two teaches you exactly as much Python as you need to build the thing you want to build — and no more. Plenty of people finish having written code for the first time in their lives.

The programme is designed for 15–21 year olds in the UK. If you're under 18, we'll ask for a parent or guardian's contact when you join the waitlist so they can approve your place. Slightly outside that range and still keen? Say so in the form — we read every one.

The cohort runs 30 August to 30 September 2026, entirely online and live. Sessions are held in the evenings and at weekends (UK time) so they work around school, college, work and the start of term. The confirmed timetable goes out to the waitlist before places are offered — and every session is recorded if you have to miss one.

£199 gets you the full four-week programme with the group — 20 places. £399 is the VIP 1:1 track — 10 places only — which adds weekly one-to-one sessions with your own mentor, extra build hours beyond the group timetable, a custom project designed around your goals, and direct message access between sessions.

Not yet — and joining costs nothing. Because we cap the cohort at 20 (and VIP at 10), we work through the waitlist in order and email you a place offer with a secure payment link. Your place is held once that's paid.

A laptop or desktop computer, a reliable internet connection, and a few hours a week you can actually protect. Every tool we use in the programme is either free or covered by your place — you won't be asked to buy software.

Us, directly. Put your details in the waitlist form and we'll come back to you with the full timetable, what your child will be building and how sessions are run. You can also email us with anything before you sign up.

You keep the project, the portfolio page, the demo recording and your certificate — and you stay in the Leverrs community with everyone else from your cohort. Week four is partly about exactly this: what to do next, whether that's uni, an apprenticeship, freelancing or building the next thing.

30 places for the whole of autumn.

20 on the Fall Cohort, 10 on VIP. When they're gone, the next intake is a season away. Joining the waitlist is free and takes about a minute.
